From the airport, your transfer brings you to your hotel to meet your Adventure Specialist. The Golden Heart City is then yours to explore. Overnight at Sophie’s Station Suites. * The tour component of your Cruisetour vacation is comprised of a dedicated tour guide, included experiences, lodging, and transportation as described. Land tour arrival times are tentative. Optional excursions are not included. Meals are not included unless specified. Visits to Denali Park in May and September are dependent on weather conditions. If necessary, the Tundra Wilderness Tour may be replaced by Denali Natural History Tour. Spend the day exploring local history, heritage and culture, beginning with a city highlights tour and a visit to the Museum of the North. Enjoy free time downtown for lunch and shopping, then embark on a cruise on the Chena River aboard an old-fashioned sternwheeler. From 6:00 p.m., your time in Fairbanks is your own. Enjoy a hearty frontier meal at a local restaurant or at a dinner theater that tells the story of the gold rush through musical comedy. Overnight at Sophie’s Station Suites.

Take in the spectacular scenery from the glass-domed railcars of the Wilderness Express on the train trip to Denali. From 3:30 p.m., the wonders of Denali are yours to explore. Your Adventure Specialist can recommend optional excursions, from guided hikes to adventures like flight sight seeing trips or rafting down the Nenana River. Overnight at Denali Park Village.

The Tundra Wildernerss Tour takes you into Denali National Park along its lone road for the best chances at seeing wildlife. After your tour, spend time at the museum-like visitor center or take advantage of the biking and hiking trails that begin near the park entrance. Overnight at Denali Park Village.

There’s time to walk the trails around the lodge before boarding the Wilderness Express heading to Talkeetna. From 5:00 p.m., enjoy a free evening in this funky small town. Locals and visitors mix and mingle in the restaurants, brew pubs, cafes and shops along the historic main street. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

The day is free for your style of adventure in this hub for outdoor fun. Your Adventure Specialist can recommend optional activities like flight sight seeing, river rafting and more. Then relax and take in the views from the Wilderness Express on the scenic rail journey into Anchorage. From 8:00 p.m., experience big-city nightlife under the evening sun, with restaurants, craft breweries and urban trails all part of the eclectic scene. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott.

Discover the state’s diverse indigenous traditions on a guided tour of the the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Then enjoy free time downtown for lunch, shopping or just strolling around before the drive along the Turnagain Arm and along the Chugach Mountains to the coast. Your Adventure Specialist will wish you bon voyage as you say goodbye at the ship terminal.

If you’re thinking about a cruise from Seward, Alaska, you probably have a taste for wild, outdoor adventures and rugged natural beauty. It’s a good thing, because this iconic destination in Alaska offers plenty of both. If you love to hike, you’ll find an abundance of scenic trails nearby just waiting to be explored, like the Mount Marathon Trail, the Resurrection River Trail, and the Tonsina Point Trail. And the famous Kenai Fjords National Park is just a five-minute drive away from town. Within Seward itself, you can set out on an early morning or late afternoon stroll past the historic buildings and colorful murals that line Main Street. Or paddle out on a kayaking adventure to the ancient tidewater caves within Resurrection Bay. Feeling the wanderlust yet? Make sure to spend a few days exploring this one-of-a-kind coastal city ahead of your cruise from Seward — you’ll be glad you did.
Your ship departs promptly at 8:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your vacation early.

At 76 miles long and seven miles wide, North America’s largest tidewater glacier makes even the largest ships in the region feel small. Watch massive chunks of Hubbard Glacier’s translucent blue ice crash into the bay with a bang like a cannon shot, a sound the Tlingit people call “White Thunder.”

Day 9 dom 14 set 2025 Juneau, Alaska Docked from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Juneau is the largest U.S. state capital— and one of the hardest to get to. Flanked by mountains, tundra and rainforests, it’s basically inaccessible except by air or sea. Once you arrive you’ll find adventure in every corner. Go dogsledding over Mendenhall Glacier, or prospecting along centuries-old mining trails. In Juneau, the thrills are as endless as the surrounding wilderness.

Summer temperatures average in the 60’s but can jump into the mid-80s or drop unexpectedly into the 40s or below, so dress in layers.

Keep your eyes peeled, because Juneau is in the heart of Bear Country. While the bears don’t typically bother humans, it’s always a good idea to keep your distance.

Once the starting point for gold stampeders heading for the promised land of the Yukon, Skagway symbolizes the spirit of Alaska. And now — it’s your turn to hunt for bold. Embark on the trail of the fortune seekers on a vintage train ride with dramatic, sweeping views at every turn. Trek through the dense rainforest and windswept valleys of Chilkoot Trail and follow in the footsteps of Klondike pioneers. Or stroll the charming downtown streets studded with historical buildings. Whatever you get up to in Skagway, it’ll be a day you’ll never forget.

If you want to hang in Icy Strait Point, you’re going to have to get a little wild. Go whale watching in Point Adolphus and sea lion spotting . Or gear up to go soaring over mountain forests on the world’s longest zip line. Life here is all about the thrill factor.
Day 12 mer 17 set 2025 Ketchikan, Alaska Docked from 9:30 am - 6:30 pm
Dubbed the canned salmon capital of the world, Ketchikan is rich in both fishing and culture. You’ll find more totem poles here than anywhere else in the world, and a Native spirit kept alive by three tribes of Northwest Coastal People. For some outdoor thrills, venture into the surrounding Tongass National Forest— the largest in the United States.

Day 13 gio 18 set 2025 Inside Passage, Canada Sightseeing
Your ship offers the perfect platform for viewing British Columbia’s Inside Passage. This archipelago spans 25,000 miles from Seattle to Prince Rupert near the Alaskan border. Here you’ll ply calm waters sheltered between the British Columbia mainland and Vancouver Island. Along the way catch a glimpse of breathtakingly rugged scenery, plus staggering wildlife like salmon sharks, white spirit bears, and millions of seabirds.
Day 14 ven 19 set 2025 Vancouver, British Columbia Arrives at 7:00 am
Kick off the afternoon lunching on xiaolongbao buns in Chinatown. Then explore the city’s cultural offerings at the Bill Reid Gallery or Vancouver Art Gallery. Get into some active adventure, whether it’s water-biking False Creek or mountain-biking the North Shore. Evenings are best spent dining and drinking in Yaletown’s hip warehouse district.
The cruise might have ended, but there are still some great activities to enjoy in the area. If you flew into this port, be mindful of your departure flight time and plan accordingly.
