Day 1 Fri, Apr 17, 2026 Singapore, Singapore Departs at 4:30 pm

Heading out on a cruise from Singapore? You’re in for an unforgettable adventure. Just make sure you set aside a few days before your sailing to really get to know the best of Singapore while you’re there. This vibrant island-state is a true cultural hub. It boasts four official languages and is home to a community that represents countries around the world. If you want to stretch your legs, climb to the summit of Mount Faber. At just over 300 feet, it’s more of a hill than a mountain, but it offers pretty panoramic views of the skyline and bay. Or spend some time exploring the impressive Orchid Garden and Botanic Garden, where you’ll find 250 different types of ginger growing. It’s the perfect lead-up to a meal of Singapore’s world-famous street food, like sweet and buttery kaya toast, flaky roti prata (sometimes called the “Asian croissant”), and tender Hainanese chicken rice, considered by many to be Singapore’s national dish.
Your ship departs promptly at 4:30 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your vacation early.
Travel Tips
1
Taxis in Singapore are plentiful, but locals increasingly use applications (namely, the "Grab" app) to get around. Consider downloading this before you dock in Singapore.

Day 3 Sun, Apr 19, 2026 Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My), Vietnam Docked from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

When you arrive, take a port shuttle into the city to explore. Head to the park Cong Vien Cang Du Lich Bach Dang, where you can catch a water bus for river tour of the city. Later, see a traditional Vietnamese bamboo dance at the Opera House. Or stroll through the Saigon Botanical Gardens, and see exotic lizards and tigers at the attached Saigon Zoo.
Travel Tips
1
Crossing the street in Vietnam is not for the timid. But just keep a steady pace with no sudden moves and traffic will weave effortlessly around you.
2
Always be clear whether you're negotiating for prices in Vietnamese dong or U.S. dollars. Double-check when paying with dong, as some bills of vastly different denominations look similar.

Day 6 Wed, Apr 22, 2026 Hong Kong, China Docked from 7:00 am - 9:00 pm

Begin your day in Hong Kong with a vigorous hike — or a cable car ride, if you're strapped for time — up to Victoria Peak for an iconic view of the city, the harbor and (if it's clear enough) the mountains of Kowloon.
Travel Tips
1
The Hong Kong dollar (HKD) is the official currency. Some larger stores will accept Chinese yuan (also called renminbi and RMB), but the exchange rate isn't great. Withdrawing cash from an ATM almost always means the best exchange rate.
2
Buy an Octopus Card at any subway station to get around Hong Kong easily. Cards purchased here have a $100 HKD (about $12 USD) credit and $50 deposit. The deposit covers negative balances up to -$35. You can also use the card at many restaurants, shops and even at ice cream carts.

Take the short trip from Keelung into Taipei, learn more about the city's history and traditions at Long Shan Temple, dating back to the 1600s in the early days of the Qing Dynasty. Then, head to Jiufen Old Street to take in some of stunning views of the bay and mountains as you wander through picturesque streets lined with quaint, traditional buildings — pop into one of the small, family-run spots here serving up fish ball soup with vermicelli noodles.
Travel Tips
1
Plan your day out in advance! Most of the best spots to visit in Keelung are a 30-minute taxi ride away.
2

Day 11 Mon, Apr 27, 2026 Nagasaki, Japan Docked from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Explore the mix of east and west in Nagasaki: Start off your day at Oura Church, a Gothic-style church built in 1864 to harken back to Europe's Middle Ages. Then, visit Kofukuji Temple — dating back to 1620, it's the oldest of the Buddhist temples built by the community of Chinese merchants that lived here. Finish the day with a bird's-eye view of the city from the top of Mt. Inasa, and catch a glimpse of the sparkling sea.
Travel Tips
1
Getting around is easy in Nagasaki: The port is conveniently located in the center of the city, every major destination is connected via trams, and taxis are available at will.
2

Day 13 Wed, Apr 29, 2026 Kobe, Japan Docked from 6:30 am - 4:00 pm

Kobe has a melting-pot cultural allure that reflects its origins as a 19th century port city. The city is also all about its world-famous beef, served up by humble street vendors and Michelin-starred chefs alike. Once you've taken in the mountain views and strolled the historic streets, passing mansions once owned by well-to-do foreign merchants, catch a train to Osaka and eat like a sumo wrestler.
Travel Tips
1
You don't need to tip in Japan — save some cash (and an awkward moment) and only pay the amount of your bill.
2
It's easy to walk around Kobe, but if you want to speed things up, you can find a reasonably priced taxi rank at every train station.
3
If you find Kobe beef a bit pricey, go to the restaurants at lunchtime, when the meals are often cheaper.

Day 14 Thu, Apr 30, 2026 Mt. Fuji (Shimizu), Japan Docked from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Mt. Fuji sightseeing is the name of the game in Shimizu. If there are no obscuring clouds, head to Miho-no-Matsubara, an emerald green pine grove next to the ocean, backdropped by the soaring volcano. Spend the rest of your time picking tea in the tranquil countryside, or indulge in the freshest sushi at the Shimizu Sushi Alley in S-Pulse Dream Plaza.
Travel Tips
1
From October to November there is an international street performers competition in the center of town called the Daidogei World Cup.
2
You can get almost anywhere by public transport. Both trains and buses are reliable and safe.
3
Check the cloud forecast in advance to know if Mt. Fuji will be visible on the day you get into port.

Day 15 Fri, May 1, 2026 Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan Arrives at 6:30 am

Yokohama is the central gateway to exploring Tokyo, a once-humble fishing village that is now one of the world's biggest, most densely populated cities. You'll find an eclectic mix of traditional shrines and soaring skyscrapers lining these neon-lit streets. Walk the Rainbow Bridge over Tokyo Bay alongside the Yurikamome Rail Line, a futuristic, operatorless train system. Then, see old Tokyo at the Imperial Palace, an Edo Castle surrounded by moats and gardens perfect for strolling. Cruise to Tokyo and head to iconic Sensoji Buddhist Temple and pass below the massive red paper lantern of the Thunder Gate. Then, unwind in Yoyogi Park, a literal forest in the heart of the city, complete with Zen gardens and a gingko tree forest.
The cruise might have ended, but there are still some great activities to enjoy in the area. If you flew into this port, be mindful of your departure flight time and plan accordingly.
