After a day of solid fun in the sun, your family may be eager to get down to serious feasting. Wow them at the world-class, multi-level Main Dining Room, where a beautiful setting is the backdrop for delicious flavours of the world. Like a Moroccan-spiced ahi tuna served over couscous, or a Latin-inspired mojo-marinated pork loin paired with fluffy sweet potatoes.
If your crew is torn between several succulent options, no worries. The food at the Main Dining Room is completely complementary and for every course – from appetiser through to dessert – you can order as many selections as you like! So much yummy goodness makes this restaurant hugely popular, and reservations (made right when you book the cruise) are strongly suggested.
Giggle-inducing and joy-provoking, our award-winning Adventure Ocean® Youth Programme combines the best of play and learning. With dedicated programs for three to five year-old adventurers (Aquanauts group), six to eight year-olds (Explorers) and nine to eleven year-olds (Voyagers), at Adventure Ocean children enjoy age-appropriate activities under the supervision of specially trained staff. Which of course frees up Mum and Dad to take advantage of some wonderfully relaxing grown up time (more on that later!).
Although before 10 p.m., Adventure Ocean is included in your cruise, there is a cost associated with nursery drop-off at our Royal Babies & Tots Programme. Due to limited space, reservations are necessary.
Make it a family faceoff or pair up for putts as you play on the green – overlooking the sparkling indigo-blue ocean. If you are on par for adventure, the views from this course are…well, unparalleled! And with the cost included in your cruise from Sydney, you can absolutely play to your heart’s content.
You might also want to try your hand at other games, like table tennis, billiards and pickleball. Or bond with your crew over a class. Cool options include cupcake class, scrapbooking, jewellery-making and dancing, to name a few. You can even learn a language and – did we mention – it’s all complimentary? C’est magnifique!way!
When the children are enjoying their dedicated programs at Adventure Ocean, carve out some quality down time just doing you in Vitality℠ Spa*. From massages, wraps and facials to medi-spa treatments and hair and nail services, everything you need to emerge renewed and relaxed awaits!
Another oasis of adult refreshment, the crystal-canopied Solarium is an adults-only, indoor-outdoor retreat where swimming pools, whirlpools and a lounge create a serene and restorative vibe.
Feed your family’s competitive fire with a race up the 12-metre Rock Climbing Wall, a sheer adrenaline-amping challenge on the ship’s top deck. The views are breathtaking – and so is the satisfaction of being recognized for your untamed fearlessness! As daunting as the wall may seem, beginners aged six and up are welcome, along with intermediate and expert climbers (everybody is securely harnessed).
Still in the mood for further family-friendly competition? Head directly to the nearby Sports Court. If you can get your eyes off the incredible ocean views and on the game, the Sports Court is the spot to enjoy some outdoor basketball and volleyball action. Both the Rock Climbing Wall and Sports Court are complimentary and do not require reservations.
